Varda is the Seat of Testing in the The Trinity, considered to be a god representing the forces of chaos, both creative and destructive. Trinitines believe Varda was the creator of the world and was responsible for a reality in constant upheaval before the apotheosis of Ilmater.

To Trinitines, Varda is part of the faith, but intended to be feared and warned away from except under certain holidays and exceptional circumstances. To worship Varda or any other "heretical petty godling spat from Varda's loins" is considered a heresy to be severely punished, although cults and regional folk worship practices do exist in places where commoners enjoy a degree of religious freedom.
