A person born with Orcism, an uncommon hereditary expression found only in humans which causes a sloping brow ridge, lower tusks and a light or dusky coloured skin. Half-orcs are treated much the same as humans, and are often favoured in lines of succession for hereditary titles. The term "half-orc" is a colloquial term to denote those who have the orcish trait but are not true orcs.
