The Mother In-Between. Goddess of knowledge, mystery and motherhood, Freia is considered the ineffable translation of the written word to its pronunciation. Often depicted as immaculately conceived, she holds “The Girls of One or Many” - that infinitely bridge the gap between meaning and representation. In typical Frøsseler mystery fashion, this is considered metaphorical - to deliver her pregnancy is to produce another answer, or alternatively many competing ones, holding with them more mystery irreducible to that which came before.
